An educational conversation

Bus passenger: Did I ever tell you about how Napoleon went to Mexico?

Bus driver: No.

Passenger: Well, he did, and I can prove it.

Driver: That would be hard to prove, since that was before anyone knew about America.

Passenger: Well, I can prove it, just like I proved that the sun revolves around the earth and not the earth around the sun.

Hopefully tomorrow we can cover more enlightening topics, like
Elvish Reactions to the Aztecs' Defeat at Waterloo;
Atlas's Weight-Training Regime; and
The Hollow Earth: Was it discovered by Leonardo da Vinci or Vasco da Gama?

Your bus driver might be as crazy as the passenger, since Napoleon was born in 1769...after everyone knew about America, I think.

Napolean who?...

Napolean BONAPARTE?...

CHARLES LOUIS Napolean Bonaparte, or Napolean III?...

Napolean DYNAMITE?...

It is interesting that while Napolean the great didn't go to Mexico, and neither did Napolean III (the nephew of Napolean I), Napolean III did send a French army to Mexico during the American Civil War. So, Napolean did go to Mexico, in a sense.

Napolean III actually lived for a few years in New York.

Can't say whether Napolean Dynamite has ever been to Mexico.

Cindy! How are you doing? I'm sorry the flag day fortune was no good for you. Maybe Columbus Day? That's even a federal holiday :)
